ABOUT THE BOOK

Diary of a Tax Girl was launched on Thursday 28th November 2019 at the Park Inn by Radisson Hotel in Northampton. It was my first book launch and I can honestly say it was an amazing event. I was supported by my friends and family to celebrate my first book.

The book aims to make tax simple for individuals and business owners. Diary of a tax girl, which contains various fictional client stories with real-life tax issues, was written out of a passion for supporting and advising business owners on their tax issues.

Why write a tax book?

A question I often get asked is “Why write a book about tax book?”. Why not tax? Most people associate tax with a very boring topic that changes all the time. However, people that show a bit of interest in their tax issues always save money and pay less tax because they have claimed the right expenses or claimed the right tax relief at the right time.

A word from my readers

Diary of a Tax Girl perfectly explains tax for both business owners and individuals in a way that is simple to understand and fun to read! Ola covers a range of tax issues, complications and topics in her short digestible chapters to help answer as many questions as you could possibly face. It’s a great read for anyone just starting to learn about tax or for those who want to deepen their understanding of it. I’d highly recommend it to all, my new tax bible!…….Emily Hudson—Professional Introducer Network

Let’s be honest, nobody likes Tax but this book presents the information with a diary format of the day to day life of “Tax Girl” that makes it interesting. There’s a lot of useful information in this book and because it’s presented in such an unusual and easy reading format you don’t even realise you are learning! There’s information on all aspects of Tax, National Insurance, registering as a charity, what to do if there are errors in your return and setting up and running a new business. I’ve found it really useful…..Vicky Taylor –Champion Information Services
